================================================ Subject: [ Creed Discuss ] Mansfield From: "Joe Earles" To: "Creed Discussion List" Date: Fri 26 Jul 2002 01:53:42 -0400 ================================================ For the most part folks, see last night's review. The show was practically identical except that I thought Jerry Cantrell had it a bit more together, as did Mark Tremonti. He was a lot more focused and it showed. I think it knocked Jerry's attitude for a loop when someone held up a banner that said "Layne Lives". He asked for it to be brought onstage and he displayed it for the remainder of his set. Again, he was much better tonight. Stapp reversed the verses to Torn after a speech about how much the song means to him. He looked rather annoyed with himself, but his disciples made sure he knew they loved him anyway. There were a couple other lyrical blunders but it's likely no one outside the pit caught them. For the ladies, Stapp wore those signature brown leather pants and a satiny white long-sleeved shirt, once again hiding the body art, which I really would have loved to see up close. Maybe he'll don a nice wifebeater when they come to Manchester next month. Stapp was in perfect voice again and being that close and seeing the facial expressions and stage presence he has really added a dimension to the experience. I can't wait to go to Manchester and do it all one more time... To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm
